I submitted a few pics late last year to the 2012 Fishing Wild photography competition. I had a good feeling that my diving pelican would take out the wildlife section but you never know what the judges are thinking and in the end it was a backwaters bonefish that did me proud, taking out the fish & fishing category.
The bonefish was one of the few nailed in the tanin stained wooded backwaters of Guanaja. I had this shot printed on satin aluminium a while ago and it looks amazing! I’ve also included a few other shots that were submitted for your viewing pleasure.
Absolutely stoked to get a guernsey in such an awesome publication. My only problem now is working out what Shimano gear I want with the $100 prize money. Thanks Shimano!
